Take time to visit the alpacas and purchase yarn at the store. Shearing occurs in the spring, but they can also demonstrate carding, spinning, and needle felting. Open on weekends by appointment.
Enchanted Forest Alpacas

A fifth-generation farm, Enchanted Forest raises Huacaya alpacas and sells alpaca products, including yarn. Visitors will be able to see the alpacas up close and pet them, if they’d like! Learn about the daily care and some of the steps used to prepare fleece for processing. Open year-round, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Saturday, and Sundays by appointment.
This quaint, family-run farm offers alpaca breeding stock, pet or fiber quality alpacas, fleece, roving, yarn, and other finished products. Thirty minute tours are available, but please call ahead. Located at 6499 North Lake Road (Route 19), Bergen.
Alpaca Play Pen, LLC
Purchase alpaca products and hand-made clothing, such as socks and scarves! They also have alpacas for sale for breeding and boarding. Open year-round by appointment. Located at 10869 Bowen Road, Attica.

This farm emphasizes the gentleness of the alpacas with children and the handicapped. There are therapy animals, as well as the opportunity to walk the alpacas around the farm. Tours last about an hour and are available daily by appointment.
